By Edel Ayres - 2013-09-17 13:22:04

Mercer Abrasives, a leading manufacturer of professional industrial Products, announced today the move of its corporate headquarters to Ronkonkoma, New York. Mercer is now in a building that has twice the capacity of its previous Deer Park, NY facility. Greater efficiencies abound with increased space for all aspects of the operation. This consolidation does not impact the Mercer West distribution facility in Fullerton, CA.

The new state-of-the-art facility will accommodate Mercer’s rapid growth, the ability to handle future demands, and offer the exceptional service its customers demand. Located at 1860 Smithtown Avenue, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 the new facility was designed for an environment that promotes creativity and collaboration with teamwork as its main focus. Office areas include numerous “collaboration spaces” for open discussion and brainstorming with several meeting rooms, and break rooms. With almost five decades and three generations of history, its core values of Quality, Performance, Delivery, Service, and Value shows Mercers commitment to serving and providing quality products for years to come.

Jim Wallick, President, says, "Our growth reflects not only our continued dedication to provide quality products and services but also a testament to our hard work. We are extremely excited to now be in our new facility with even greater efficiencies."
